About CKD-EPI 2021
The 2021 CKD-EPI equations removed the race coefficient to provide more equitable eGFR estimates. Combined creatinine-cystatin C equation is most accurate.
Estimated GFR (CKD-EPI 2021 Cr)
88.9
mL/min/1.73mΒ²
G2 - Mildly Decreased
CrCl (C-G)
82.6
mL/min
Equation Used
CKD-EPI 2021 Cr
Interpretation
Mildly decreased kidney function. May be normal for age. Monitor annually.
CKD Stages
G1: β₯90 mL/min (Normal)
G2: 60-89 mL/min (Mild)
G3a: 45-59 mL/min (Mild-Moderate)
G3b: 30-44 mL/min (Moderate-Severe)
G4: 15-29 mL/min (Severe)
G5: <15 mL/min (Kidney Failure)
Disclaimer: eGFR is an estimate and may be inaccurate in certain populations (extremes of body size, muscle mass, diet). Always interpret in clinical context and consult nephrology for complex cases.
